The studio works on two kinds of projects: new construction and large-scale renovation. Both are full-service engagements, guided by Nathalie from the earliest drawings through the final installation, with select hospitality and commercial work alongside.
New Builds
A home designed from the inside out, from the very first drawings.
Engaging the studio while your home is still on paper means interior architecture, lighting, millwork, stone and fixtures are resolved as one vision, before construction locks them in.
Nathalie works alongside your architect and builder through every phase, then furnishes and installs the finished home.
Best for:
Families building a primary or second home who want it designed as a whole, not room by room.
Large Renovations
For houses with beautiful bones that no longer fit the life inside them.
A large renovation reconsiders how the whole home lives: the flow between rooms, the light, the materials. Nathalie guides the design from layout to the last object, working with your builder through construction, so the finished home feels as though it was always meant to be.

Hospitality & Commercial Design
Boutique hotels, restaurants and commercial spaces, by selection.
The studio takes on a select number of hospitality and commercial projects each year, designed with the same warmth, restraint and attention to detail brought to its residential work. Each space is shaped to feel considered, welcoming and enduring, never generic.

Office Hours
Some questions deserve more than a search. They deserve an expert eye, undivided attention, and a conversation that actually moves things forward. Whether you’re reimagining a floor plan or resolving one room that has never quite worked, Office Hours offers direct access to Nathalie’s eye and expertise, without the scope of a full engagement.
The format is yours to shape: walk through your space over video, share a mood board or links, or talk through what you’re envisioning. The time is structured around what you need most.
A single well-guided conversation can save months of second-guessing. Think of it as calling that friend who happens to know everything about interiors.

New construction and large renovations involving multiple rooms or an entire home, along with select hospitality and commercial projects. Projects begin at a minimum project budget of $150,000.

Yes. The studio is based in Charlotte and takes on select projects throughout the region and beyond, including second homes and international work. Each is guided with the same care, with site visits planned at key moments in the project.

The studio’s work is focused on new builds and whole-home renovations, so we don’t take on single-room projects. For focused guidance, Nathalie offers a limited number of private Office Hours sessions.

As early as possible, ideally while plans are still being drawn. The earlier the studio is involved, the more cohesive the finished home, and the fewer costly changes during construction.

Yes. Nathalie provides design guidance and specifications to your builder and visits the site at key milestones. Contracts, permits, bidding and construction budgets remain directly between you and your builder.

A new build typically spans 12–24 months with the studio; a large renovation, 5–12 months, depending on scope and construction schedule.

Design fees cover the design, specifications and project guidance. Furniture, lighting, materials and art are purchased separately, with selections made to suit the home and the agreed investment.
